Levels of Organization in the Human Body: Cells (Demo)
The human body is organised into a hierarchy of levels, each building upon the one below it to create a complex and functioning organism. At the smallest scale are cells, the basic units of life. Groups of similar cells form tissues, and tissues combine to create organs with specific functions. Organs work together in organ systems, such as the circulatory or digestive system, enabling the body to carry out essential processes. Understanding these levels of organization helps us see how structure and function are interconnected throughout the human body.
